NLI Global is a legal firm based in Istanbul, Turkey. We were established to serve the growing number of international investors, families, and corporations who require Turkish legal representation conducted in English, with the rigour and transparency they expect from their home jurisdictions.
Our practice covers the full range of legal matters that arise when foreign nationals engage with the Turkish legal system — from acquiring property and obtaining citizenship through to establishing companies, managing immigration status, and conducting corporate transactions.
We do not offer guidance. We provide legal representation — taking direct responsibility for every filing, document, and authority interaction on your behalf.

All NLI Global lawyers are admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association and licensed to practise Turkish law. Every engagement is covered by a formal retainer agreement.

NLI Global is a law firm, not a consultancy. Our lawyers are licensed members of the Istanbul Bar Association. When we file a document or appear before an authority on your behalf, we carry professional legal liability for that action — something a consultant cannot offer.

We conduct full legal verification before any investment, purchase, or application is initiated. For real estate, this means title deed review, encumbrance checks, and zoning confirmation. For citizenship, it means confirming the qualifying status of the investment route before funds are committed.

Initial Legal Assessment
We review your situation, objectives, and eligibility before recommending any legal route. You receive a written assessment confirming the applicable process, documentation requirements, timeline, and fee structure. No process is initiated until you have reviewed and approved this assessment.
Week 1–2
Document Preparation & Due Diligence
Our lawyers prepare and verify all required documentation. For property matters, this includes full title deed and encumbrance verification. For citizenship, it includes investment route confirmation. For corporate matters, it includes statutory compliance checks. We do not proceed to filing until all documents are legally complete.
Ongoing
Authority Filings & Appointments
We manage all government filings, notary appointments, land registry interactions, and ministry submissions on your behalf. Where your physical presence is legally required, we confirm this in advance and coordinate the appointment. In most processes, your physical presence is not required until the final stage.
Throughout
Progress Updates in English
You receive regular written updates on the status of your matter in plain English. We communicate every development — including delays or requests from authorities — promptly and clearly. You are never left without information about where your matter stands.
Completion
Final Outcome & Post-Completion Support
On completion, we deliver all relevant legal documents and confirm the final legal position in writing. For matters with ongoing legal implications — such as citizenship, residency, or corporate compliance — we advise on any post-completion obligations and remain available for follow-on legal support.
